Introducing ACU. . .          

Amalgamated Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative that is owned and operated by its members.  The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who are elected by the Credit Union's members.  We are involved throughout the Saginaw community, including a partnership with Saginaw area schools.  Membership is open to individuals who live, work, or worship within the boundaries of Saginaw County or to family members of current members.

Because ACU's primary goal is to help our members, not to generate a profit, our members typically enjoy better rates and more affordable services than you'll find at other financial institutions.  Our members are the exclusive beneficiaries of our services; a significant difference that makes us unique in the financial world.

Amalgamated Credit Union is member owned and operated.  Our goal is to provide the best possible financial services to our members at competitive rates and to maintain the philosophy of members helping members.  As a community chartered credit union, we support social and economic programs in the community.

Membership

WHO CAN JOIN

Membership in Amalgamated Credit Union (ACU) is available to individuals who live, work, or worship or attend school within the boundaries of Saginaw County.  You can also join if you are a family member of an existing ACU member.  The Credit Union's "once a member, always a member" policy means you can keep your membership open if you change jobs or move away from the area.

HOW TO JOIN

To join the Credit Union, you are required to open a Regular Share (savings) Account with a minimum $5 deposit.  You must keep at least $5 in your Regular Share Account at all times to remain a member of the Credit Union.  Stop by either office with picture id and social security card to get your account started today.
