WHO CAN JOIN

Membership in Amalgamated Credit Union (ACU) is available to individuals who live, work, or worship within the boundaries of Saginaw County.  You can also join if you are a family member of an existing ACU member.  The Credit Union's "once a member, always a member" policy means you can keep your membership open if you change jobs or move away from the area.

HOW TO JOIN

To join the Credit Union, you are required to open a Regular Share (savings) Account with a minimum $5 deposit.  You must keep at least $5 in your Regular Share Account at all times to remain a member of the Credit Union.  Stop by either office with picture id and social security card to get your account started today.

MEMBERSHIP IN AMALGAMATED CREDIT UNION

A.  Individuals who live, work, or worship within the boundaries of Saginaw County.
B.  Anyone over the age of 55 who receives a retirement annuity, pension, social 
      security, or similar retirement payment from private or government sources, and
      lives, or belongs to a retirement organization located in any of the following counties:
      Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Tuscola, Genesee, Gratiot, or Shiawassee.
C.  Relatives of current members.
D.  Organizations incorporated or otherwise, composed for the most part of the same general group
      making up the membership outlined above.
E.  A spouse of a deceased member if elected to membership prior to remarriage.
